HOW TO SIGN UP TO THE NEXT GIBRALTAR RACE “THE EASTERN DESCENT”

Below are the instruction to sign up to Gibraltar Race (Full or Express):

  1. Fill in all the fields of the registration form below for PILOT and MOTORCYCLE, indicating in the field “Your message” the formula you are signing in and any additional service required. In the “address” field please also specify the city.
  2. Pay the amount of the registration fee (or the advance, whenever possible) for the selected formula and of any additional service or assistance via bank transfer (the account details are shown below) or Paypal (by accessing the link below).
  3. Wait for confirmation emails and, if necessary, follow the additional instructions received.
  4. Remember that the general program may be modified before the start for reasons not depending on the Organization. It will be made available as soon as fully defined.
  • These are the bank account details for the bank transfer IBAN: IT 51L084 87467 70000 16010 1318 and BIC/SWIFT CCRTIT2TCHE payable to Moto Raid Experience – Saluzzo – Italy.
  • This is the link for payment via Paypal. The amount will have to be increased by 3.4% corresponding to Paypal commissions.
  • Payment may be made at one time or by installments. In calculating the applied fee it will be taken into account the date of the balance, except in cases where only the advance can be paid.
  • In case of cancellation by the participant the fixed amount of Euro 1,000 (Euro 700 for the Express Formula) of the fee for the race is not refundable under any circumstances. Any cancellation must be communicated within 30 days before the departure date via registered mail to be sent to the following address: Moto Raid Experience – via Spielberg 70 – 12037 Saluzzo (CN) – Italy or via certified email to mrexperience@pec.it. After this date any amount paid will not be refunded. We suggest to take out a travel cancellation insurance.
  • If the event is canceled by the organization for any reason, the entire amount paid will be returned to each participant.

GIBRALTAR RACE 2021

June 25, 2021 > July 10, 2021

Entries start on July 8, 2020 – entries end on April 30, 2021:

  • The registration fee by November 15th 2020 = Euro 2,300. It is possible to pay an advance of € 1,000 to fix the price and pay the balance by 15/02/21. Option limited to the first 35 ones who register.
  • The registration fee by February 15th 2021 = Euro 2,600.
  • The registration fee from February 16th 2021 and before April 30th 2021 = Euro 2,900.
  • dinners package: the additional cost for the dinners at all bivouacs = Euro 400 – from the dinner on 25/06 to the dinner on 09/07 included.
  • hotel + breakfast package: the optional supplement for overnight stay in a double room in all bivouacs (15 nights from 25/06 to 09/07) = Euro 850. The availability of rooms may be limited and priority will therefore be given based on the time of purchase of the package.
  • single room supplement: the optional supplement for the single room in all bivouacs (15 nights from 25/06 to 09/07) = Euro 500. The availability of rooms may be limited and priority will therefore be given based on the time of purchase of the package.

GIBRALTAR RACE 2021, Formula Express

Entries start on July 8, 2020 – entries end on April 30, 2021:

  • The registration fee by November 15th 2020 = Euro 1,400. It is possible to pay an advance of € 700 to fix the price and pay the balance by 15/02/21. Option limited to the first 35 ones who register.
  • The registration fee by February 15th 2021 = Euro 1,550. 
  • The registration fee from February 16th 2021 and before April 30th 2021 = Euro 1,700.
  • dinners package: the additional cost for the dinner at all bivouacs = Euro 250 – 8 dinners.
  • hotel + breakfast package: the optional supplement for overnight stay in a double room in all bivouacs (8 nights) = Euro 450. The availability of rooms may be limited and priority will therefore be given based on the time of purchase of the package.
  • single room supplement: the optional supplement for the single room in all bivouacs (8 nights) = Euro 270. The availability of rooms may be limited and priority will therefore be given based on the  time of purchase of the package.

The entry fees includes (unless otherwise stated):

  • administrative expenses for the registration to the race;
  • organization expenses of the race;
  • race documentation for pilot and motorbike, numbers, id bracelet;
  • area for the motorbike at the bivouacs;
  • supervision of the bivouacs;
  • transport from bivouac to bivouac of 1 crate (sizes 80x40x40 or 80x35x45 cms for a maximum weight of 30 kgs.) for each participant; there is a supplement of Euro 100 for each additional crate ; any other baggage different in shape and sizes will not be transported;
  • recovery of damaged or broken motorbike along the route. The rescue truck will transport the motorbike to the next bivouac;
  • medical assistance along the way and at the bivouacs;
  • the recovery and transport of the pilot to the closest available medical facilities, diagnostics and emergency surgery and, when necessary, repatriation (through agreed insurance);
  • civil liability for the duration of the event (does not replace the liability insurance of the motorbike which is still required);
  • rental of GPS tracking device (it is required a deposit of Euro 150, refundable upon returning the tracker undamaged);
  • the cost of international data traffic of the device;
  • rental of GPS logger device (it is required a deposit of Euro 50, refundable upon returning the logger undamaged);
  • waypoints for each day of challenge;
  • welcome event at the first bivouac;
  • final party at the finish line;
  • trophies for the top 3 pilots in the rankings of classes and categories;
  • prizes for the top 3 pilots in the overall ranking;
  • stage trophies;
  • To.Ka. (trophy) for the pilots which complete the Formula to which they are registered;
  • t-shirt or similar gadget for all the pilots.

The entry fees do not include (unless otherwise stated):

  • individual travels and the transport of the motorbike to reach the place of start and to return from where the race ends;
  • the pitch for the tent or camper-van at the bivouac and the basic services (unless otherwise stated);
  • meals and drinks (unless otherwise stated);
  • hotel accommodation (unless otherwise stated) ;
  • any visas and permits for people and motorbikes;
  • liability insurance and green card for motorcycles
  • fuel;
  • mechanical assistance of any kind;
  • any tolls or ferries on the route;
  • everything not included in “the fee includes”

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR MECHANICAL ASSISTANCE TO NEXT GIBRALTAR RACE “THE EASTERN DESCENT”

  • The registration fee for each assistance vehicle at Gibraltar RaceEuro 500 (250€ for Express)
  • The registration fee for each assistance person or any other guest at Gibraltar RaceEuro 300 (150€ for Express)
  • dinners package: the additional cost for the dinners at all bivouacs = Euro 400 (250€ for Express)
  • Entries of the assistances will end on the same dates required for signing up for the race. Any cancellation must be communicated within 30 days before the start of the race via registered mail to be sent to the following address: Moto Raid Experience – via Spielberg 70 – 12037 Saluzzo (CN) – Italy or via certified email to mrexperience@pec.it. After this date any amount paid will not be refunded. In case of cancellation the 15% of the fee for the assistance is not refundable under any circumstances.

    For the assistance provided by private teams, accredited to the Organization, you must contact them directly to individually agree services and their cost. The list of accredited assistances is available in the proper section.

The entry fees includes (unless otherwise stated):

  • administrative expenses for the registration to the race;
  • organization expenses;
  • for the vehicle: labels with numbers on green background and the pass to access to the bivouac;
  • rental of GPS tracking device (it is required a deposit of Euro 150, refundable upon returning the tracker undamaged);
  • the cost of international data traffic of the device;
  • for the person: id bracelet;
  • admission fees to bivouacs and services for people and vehicle;
  • a space at the bivouacs;
  • supervision of the bivouacs;
  • civil liability for the duration of the event (does not replace the liability insurance of the vehicle, which is still required);
  • welcome event at the first bivouac;
  • final party at the finish line.

The entry fees for assistance do not include (unless otherwise stated):

  • individual travels and the transport of the vehicle to reach the place of start and to return from where it ends;
  • meals and drinks (unless otherwise stated);
  • hotel or any other accommodation (unless otherwise stated);
  • any visas and permits for people and vehicle;
  • fuel;
  • any tolls or ferries on the route
  • everything not included in “the fee includes”
