This is it: Friday 21st June the fourth edition of the moto-challenge that crosses Europe starts from Gdansk. More than 80 riders at the start and an unprecedented route that goes from the Baltic Sea to the Atlantic Ocean!
The Gibraltar Race is now in its fourth edition and is preparing for the start of a special edition, destined to remain in the annals as the “Baltic-Atlantic“. Our “Gibraltar Heroes” will connect, thanks to a completely new route, the Sopot pier, overlooking the Baltic Sea in Gdansk, Poland, to the lighthouse in Finisterre, Spain, the far west overlooking the Atlantic.
In the middle a good slice of the Old Continent: Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal.
COME FOLLOW THE GIBRALTAR RACE?
You can follow the Gibraltar Race at any time. Updates and videos will be posted daily on our socials. In particular there will be a video with the higlights of the stage followed by a gallery of the day and another video, which we have called “Bivouac and Rankings” dedicated more to bivouac life and rankings.
The hashtags of the event are #GibraltarRace and #BalticAtlantic and also the drivers are called to share their views on socials: the best among those who will have used the #BridgestoneMoto hashtag will be awarded by our official partner Bridgestone.
BRESCIA E CUNEO, THE BEST MOMENTS TO MEET THE GIBRALTAR RACE
During the passage in Italy there will be some special moments to allow fans to see the event up close. The first will be at the Museo della Millemiglia in Brescia, where the caravan is expected for the evening of June 26th and the second is the following day, June 27th, in Piazza Foro Boario in Cuneo when in the late afternoon there will be the handover between the two exceptional pathfinders Franco Picco and Roberto Boano and the catwalk of all participants.
The Gibraltar Race will unfortunately be an orphan of the Number 1: Antonio “Toto” Berera, overall winner of the last edition, had to give up his planned participation to recover from a fall. All the staff and riders wish him a big wish for a quick recovery!
A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR PARTNERS:
